It was great to be back at Fair Oaks Farms for Lauren and Ryan’s summer wedding at the picture-perfect Indiana wedding venue.

Before I show more of our golden hour and sunset wedding photos, the day starts with bride and groom prep at the adjacent Fairfield Inn & Suites Fair Oaks Farms.

I had a great time bouncing back and forth from the bridal suite to the groom’s suite, and we had a lot of laughs in both. Soon enough, it would be “go time,” as Lauren said, and we’d make our way toward the outdoor ceremony area.

I have had many out-of-state clients having their weddings here in the Midwest lately, and I can now add Andrew and Taylor to that list. They flew in from Austin, Texas, to get married in the bride’s hometown.

The beautiful summer wedding featured an outdoor ceremony at Briar Ridge Country Club in Schererville, Indiana.

Indiana Dunes Beach Engagement Session

Sometimes, the weather gods will gift you a perfect day at Indiana Dunes National Park. With temperatures in the 70s and clear skies for a perfect sunset, Matt and Katie’s engagement session was poised to be epic.

We met at Portage Lakefront and River Walk and started taking pictures just before the start of golden hour. The idea was to shoot some beach scenes and end with sunset photos.
